I was “allowed to be a free vendor” at a food fights event. It was disgusting seeing people filling bags with food and treating the staff VERY disrespectfully if they were sold out of anything. They came to my booth and were irritated that we didn’t have food and weren’t giving anything away. We lost money that day and did not gain any prospects or futures sales from it. It’s a hustle from every side.

Yeah. A lot of the foods are interchangeable between the countries over in that region. Each one trying to lay claim to originating it, and all having places that claim to be where it was first made. I have spent a lot of time traveling in the region and I always tried to sample what was local, rather than what was imported. Unless there was some following because they made vast additions to something. Have to be cautious though, for me. I am allergic to seafood. So makes life difficult sometimes when I am there.

It doesn't have to be a court house or city hall, unless you prefer a literal city hall marriage (which absolutely dos have its charm). Anyone can be ordained by an online church, and is therefore allowed to officiate. RI rules even expressly affirm that online ordinations are totally valid. If you're cool, I can do it for you!

Then you just need two witnesses and you're good to go.

My wife and I decided we didn't want a big wedding. We'd both been married before and it's just headache, hassle and expense. We went to Kent County Courthouse, spent $200 and was done in an hour. My son and step-daughter attended/witnessed.

We spent 4 nights at Foxwoods and had a small gathering at my In-laws house. I don't think we went over $1,000 all told.

Best decision we could have made.

I HATE coupon books, they're for chronic cheapskates who crow about how much free food they got last weekend. Friends invited me out during the last "Food Fight" weekend, but I ended up just joining them for a quick cocktail at the end of the meal. I could clearly see how annoyed the server was, because - news flash - they were only there for the free food, and would probably never return. They made a point of how much food they were taking home. Embarrassing. I am far from wealthy, but I don't go to a restaurant unless I can actually pay for the food.
