Check out Frog and Toad, The Matchbox or Stock in Providence for some unique finds.
I’d also recommend locally roasted coffee like New Harvest, Borealis, Bolt, etc or beer from a local brewery like Proclamation or Moniker. ISCO spirits would be good too.

Bars open at 7am, and there are plenty of people who start drinking before that (myself included)

Bristol is also home of the longest running 4th of July parade in the country. It’s a big deal. And about a dozen championship parades over the past 20 years in Boston. Pretty sus you don’t know about any of these parades.

Half joking half serious, OP sounds like they want fine dining, but what you said could be true as well! Love me some 3am drunken haven bros

Go there multiple times every summer and my uncle lives right near there. The food is actually really good and high quality, idk what you’re talking about. Maybe they changed chefs or something but in the past 5-6 years it’s been consistently good, albeit a bit expensive

Go to NY System, in Providence or Cranston. Get yourself a wiener and snag them a beanie, they’ll love it.

Not really a RI thing, but places do fried oysters.
I’m more partial to raw bar (and it’s way more common in RI), but Benjamin’s in Newport has pretty good oysters Rockefeller/oyster stew.

I’m definitely more of a fried clam person, but my partner loves the fried oysters at Matunuck Ouster Bar
