Don't know the price, but if you're willing to drive to Somerset, MA, Auclair's market makes an in-house grey corned beef brisket in the historically authentic Irish American style, which differs somewhat from the standard corned beef you're familiar with in most grocery stores. You have to preorder it though.

Man that is so frustrating! Happy to hear background on why this issue keeps occurring. Like literally happens every-time I go LOL. The employees at RISE are excellent though so my complaint is not with them. They do the best they can with what is provided to them shame on corporate!

That's because corporate took control of the menu. When it was summit, they had direct control of the website and took stuff off as soon as it ran out. Now when it runs out, they gotta send an message to corporate and they pull it down when they feel like it. I remember seeing stuff still on the menu that we ran out of days ago.

I’ve never made corned beef, which is better - flat or point tip?

I've had really good results cooking low and slow in a dutch oven.

I've only ever had good experience with RISE, at least as far as staff goes, some bud has been hit or miss though. What are some of the issues some folks have experienced that they find RISE to be the worst? Genuinely curious.

Anyone have a good recipe? Tried it last year in the slow cooker, but ended up being flavorless and a bit chewy.

If you want to buy what the restaurants use, call Bonollo's. $5.09 a pound for a gorgeous flat cut trimmed brisket. No waste and all meat.

Pro tip, dry one off, give it a black pepper, onion powder and paprika rub, let it cure uncovered in the fridge overnight then slow smoke it for nice pastrami.

RISE inventory management system is horrible, every time I go in I get pre-rolls and there is always one that is out of stock but allows me to put it in the cart. Nova once they run out it is listed as sold out and you cannot add it to the cart. I stopped going to RISE because I was tired of getting to the cashier to pay for my product only to be told they dont have something and offer a substitute that I dont know any information about.

Corporate cannabis is awful, hopefully the RI program changes at some point so we can purchase directly from caregivers.

Yea, Solar is opening a new store in Warwick this month so that's a good thing. Things definitely went down after recreational sales started but the problems started before that with corporate taking over important things like the menu and changing other things around.

Ah damn that sucks. I have only shopped there once so far and had a middling experience but have seen loads of people complain about the quality of service since they began recreational sales. They will have competition close by at least.

I completely agree. I hated having to constantly apologize to customers because we didn't have what they wanted. And so many times I was told "but it's still on the menu" and I had to explain why things were messed up. It's just shocking to me that they still can't get it right. The employees in store are all amazing, they just gotta deal with the problems caused by the higher ups.
