Many drugs currently in shortage. Some issues are regional, and it seems like New England has been reasonably affected. I think much of it is continued fallout of pandemic supply chain disruptions, particularly overseas. Turns out “just in time” manufacturing isn’t ideal for essential products!

We had an issue finding antibiotics for my kiddo when she had an ear infection. I called about 12 different pharmacies, all were on back order and couldn’t tell me when they’d have it. I ended up going on a trip up to NH, called six pharmacies up there with no luck, ended up finding it at one super last minute and I got the last bottle of it. Wild

The site proposal moved to behind/in front of Top golf where Citizens was. Not sure where it left off. Last "official" news was Cranston Mayor was on ch 10 news and said he signed the paperwork, waiting on announcement from realtors. And if you REALLY want to know what happens, you can search Cranston's plan commission meeting agendas lol.

Fair enough, but it’s sort of like dismissing everyone who opposes a non-viable project as being a NIMBY. We need more housing in Providence, but not high-priced condos subsidized by the government — and not wildly out of proportion with the rest of the built environment as some sort of a vanity trophy building.

You’re right that the media did a poor job of covering the project, but residents could also look at the people involved, and what they said (and didn’t), and see that it was always more of “let’s see if we can wangle a deal for ourselves by making vague assertions” about jobs kind of thing.

I think if they’d lined up the financing to make it viable, they would have been more forthcoming about it as a solid public investment. Instead, the details were always coming later, once we’d committed to the deal. It shouldn’t take that kind of financial minuet to get a worthwhile deal completed — which indicated it never was a good deal.

Growing up in Providence, the only Asian language offered at the time was Japanese. Not sure if that's still the case. It'd definitely be cool to have Chinese as an option.

Ill tell exactly what it is.... Sometime after 9/11 the political parties began to structure themselves like a MCdonalds.

They now sell us the BS diversity and inclusion candidates from god knows where and they have colonized almost every part of America under this new corpo-poltical cult system.

Now we cant fight them in anyway because we cant vote them out because they will just be replaced with members of the party . Cant go to war with them, most Americans are not even physically fit enough to walk a mile :(

All we can do is watch as our cities are entered into some globalist economy where no matter what , the residents of RI dont have the money to compete , and the government in collusion with these global financial systems , is only happy to accept THE CASH.

In short the USA is no more we are foreigners in our own lands . They should rename us THE CORPORATE ENSLAVEMENT STATES OF THE NORTH AMERICA ( we live in district one ) ..
