Nah, just 69k for the Revs opener in Charlotte the other day. https://amp.charlotteobserver.com/sports/charlotte-fc/article272605007.html

And definitely don’t look at what’s happening in St Louis https://fox2now.com/sports/stl-city-sc/sold-out-crowd-incredible-atmosphere-sparks-st-louis-city-sc-in-home-opener/amp/

Or Atlanta, Nashville, Minnesota, and even in New England, where the avg attendance is over 20k and they sold more season tickets for this season than ever before.

Pay no attention to the upcoming 2026 World Cup either.

This effort is misguided and has the potential to end up like other bad policies on this topic (see MAID in Canada where the current implementation will soon allow for those with mental illness alone to request their own death).

It’s understandable to want to reduce the suffering of loved ones. Hospice care is designed for people with terminal illness of 6mo or less and can greatly reduce suffering. If we want to improve the dignity of those dying, I’d suggest we make sure our hospice system is adequately funded and properly implemented to help those in need. One of the issues that comes up with MAID in Canada is that people are worried about cost of care at end of life. That should never be a concern for those that are dying.

What about the 45 million dollar school they built that had faulty fire alarm equipment, then had a power outage because a worker struck something under ground with a machine, then the heating coils bursting TWICE and flooding the building forcing the kids to remote learn for almost a month with barely any notice to parents SCREW the soccer stadium

Yeah I think that “we all collectively get by on very little” vs “I had a nice home and my dickhead landlord priced me out of it because everyone else was doing the same to their tenants” is a big motivating factor in “I turned to crime”

I have gone all the way before, despite the sign because it's public property up to 10' beyond the high tide line. Didn't notice the stone bench but I'll have to go back and see! Took some decent photos of the moon setting over the Towers from those rocks. Thanks for the comment 👍🏽
