Yeah Im not exactly sure what the original issue was but I am pretty sure the original FU sign was on Bristol Ferry and the town ordered him to take it down because it was vulgar etc.. There wad a court case and the aclu defended him on free speech grounds. And when he won that, he bought thst old gas station and let his freak flag fly.

Never forget the ones screaming about the loss of "family values" , also have Fuck "everyone" on flags for my kids to read.

If you’re concerned at all about this then get involved with your school committee. They’re elected positions and they aren’t usually competitive races. In EP one Ward had a candidate who was part of the Gaspee project and had spoken at events discussing subverting school boards and also featuring Proudboys as speakers. She was beaten because she was outed and an organized resistance put up. Fight now, not later.

The R-Line should be an electric tram and there should be a matching east-west R-Line that goes from the Hartford section of Providence through Olneyville, down Broadway, through downtown, then using the transit tunnel and continuing through Wayland Square over the Henderson Bridge to East Providence. In real dollars it would be really expensive but the benefits would be huge.

Something that wouldn't be nearly as ambitious or expensive would be bus lanes, especially for the R Line on North Main Street. I hate that a bus full of people is subject to traffic delays from congestion caused mostly by single occupancy vehicles. We also need bus lanes on Charles Street at least from Orms Street to Silver Spring.

Swatting call today at East Providence HS too. 3 adults, 3 children killed at a school in Nashville this a.m.

As a parent, I'M SO FUCKING TIRED OF THIS BULLSHIT.

My dad still teaches at a RI HS at age 72. I worry for my kids and parent every day.

This country is insane.

It's already in RI. From the public spectacles at the NK School Committee meetings over the graphic novel Gender Queer, that same book's banning in Lincoln, to the Smithfield School Committee meeting that tried to have 3 children's books removed from the elementary libraries, it's already here.

It’s in a weird location. In parking garage across from airport. I think on the second level. Drop off point is at the entrance of the parking garage. Then it’s about a 3-4 minute walk.
