You can get mirrors and lights on Amazon for probably under $100. Provided everything else works that’s all you should need to be road worthy. If you have a legal bike registered in your name, not only can you enjoy it like a normal person but you might think twice next time you flip off a cop. That’s my logic

Your MMJ card doesn't matter to anything that has to do with Federal law since it's still a Schedule I drug. If it's worked for you before, go the synthetic route.

No MMJ is still banned by federal law. Your card doesn't matter since the Federal Government considered it banned. Your drug test must be clean to pass.

Just did this a few months ago. MMJ card didn't help one bit, I had to retake the test again.

Don’t know anything about showing your card and the facility will not show results for that (plus if they just left it off, wouldn’t that be obvious to the employer? Hey, we paid for you to do a 5 panel drug test including Marijuana, how come you didn’t test for the marijuana?)
And they can absolutely not hire you or even fire you later even if you have a medical card. There has been talk about passing legislation to protect medical or rec users from being fired or not hired based on marijuana usage, but to my knowledge it hasn’t gone anywhere. Hell, the RI Senate introduced a bill recently that would have back door returned us to prohibition.

I ride a DRZ. In many places you can get MX bikes registered if you add mirrors, horn, and appropriate lights. Just seems like if these kids were legal they’d have less of incentive to blast through red lights while being chased over paperwork/other traffic infringements.
If you’re unregistered and you get pulled over, it’s impound and maybe arrest. If you’re registered it’s a ticket. So to me the whole incentive for these guys to bolt and do dumb stuff and ride in packs is based off of the fact they are committing a misdemeanor off the word go.
Sort of like when I used to buy weed from the drug dealer I’d accidentally leave with a gram of coke and three perc 30s. Now I just go to the store and everything is kosher.

As a general rule it’s probably best not to assume you’ve been profiled simply by virtue of being pulled over, but I do find it strange that they’d address such a thing in a state driver’s manual.

Same deal in NYC. I used to live in rural NJ and a family member had his ATV stolen out of his locked garage. Turned up in Brooklyn a week later. A lot of the bikes you see ripping around East Coast cities are stolen, so they don't care if they have to ditch it when running from police. Pretty frustrating.

Nah piggies are getting paid to enforce laws not their fragile feelings. They want respect, they can earn it by doing their job appropriately and not getting butt hurt when people don't worship the ground they walk on.

2 way street. Most officers show respect . The public is out of control and has zero respect. It’s time to sharpen their skills. Too many punks out there.

Fabricating solar panels requires caustic chemicals such as sodium hydroxide and hydrofluoric acid, and the process uses water as well as electricity, the production of which emits greenhouse gases. It also creates waste. Yeah, no impact here...

Card doesn’t matter. If you’re dealing with the feds pot it still illegal. You will fail your drug test. If this is a driving job that will get entered into the clearinghouse and you’ll most likely never hold a federally regulated driving job.
