Are you kidding me? I'm struggling out here to find a job and get off SSI. I can barely afford the apartment I have now. I ain't gonna get a house when most apartments rent for $1000 or so and minimum wage can't even cover the cheapest apartment. So no. I will not buy a house in Rhode Island. On the topic of jobs, it would be swell if places were hiring people that just want to work. Those interviews are a waste of time when you're just looking for a job to earn money.

My wife and I just did a short hike at Norman Bird Sanctuary this past Sunday and it was great. You park at the welcome center and then it's more like a walk to reach the different trails available. There are some portions that feel like a hike (uphill, over rocks), but it's really casual.

They will start charging $7 per adult on April 1 but before that date it is free to walk the trails. That's only a few days notice but if you have Thursday or Friday off then it's free on those days.

I get what you’re saying, but I think having the team (and the stadium and larger project) will be good for Pawtucket, hopefully it will help revitalize the area, which badly needs it. I also think having the team is gonna be good for families, for kids. One underrated thing people don’t really talk about is the soccer academy that comes with the team, which will give kids from all income brackets across RI an opportunity to develop and potentially become professional players. I also don’t think it’s really an “either/or” thing. Other possibilities weren’t really being seriously considered, and this is a major economic development for Pawtucket that I think will help people. Ultimately I just love the whole thing, and I want to share that love and excitement with people
