Athletes should put themselves mentally first when they feel not ready to participate in sporting events or practices or if they need to ask for assistance from someone who can provide them encouraging words. Also, assistance can help them remember to be optimistic and remind them to appreciate themselves, and some coaches show some empathy for players who need to focus on their mentality and health and distance themselves from their sport.

There is a high percentage of players who do not concentrate on their health and mentality. Because some coaches pressure their players to be overly self-congratulatory and obsessively winning, which can lead to mental disorders in some players such as anxiety, overthinking, or eating disorders, This is because some coaches like their players because of their success. As a result, some coaches are putting heavily pressure on their team, which will lead to players feeling like they desire to get a gold trophy over their bodies. This can be extremely damaging for athletes, both mentally and physically, and can certainly lead to injury.

When getting ready to play in any sporting event or for practice, athletes should always check their mental and physical health.

If you didn’t check up your physical health and mentality, how could you be able to do well in practice or sporting event, but you do not focus on yourself first?

You write like someone who’s recently experienced a head injury.

While intentionally pushing yourself to and beyond the point of serious injury is never a good idea, the whole point of athletics is to develop both mental and physical toughness. Doing so requires that a top tier athlete trains hard every day regardless of weather they want to or not. Short term pain for long term gain.
