To be fair, the first one to actually offer affordable permanent solution will steal the whole market. So it's worth it if you have it.

A lot of science fiction writers do go into technical detail for their books. Which would be a huge reason why real inventors later down the line credit science fiction works/writers as their inspiration.
Also, imaginator sounds dumb AF.

Technically you could just use a tablecloth or a trash bag. And it’s only really a requirement if anybody says anything ;)

Imaginators, not inventors.
Inventing includes all the technical aspects and goes from the idea to a functional prototype.

There’s a leather store in Wilton Manors, FL that you can get naked in to try on the leather and other sexy clothes. Workers can choose to be as naked as they want to be too.
But yes, you’d have to wear some clothes to travel to that store.

People will purchase products that are temporarily effective though. They don’t have the foresight to choose based on long term outcomes vs near term.

But it requires serious coordination, a product/service that was effective would wipe out the competition

When I was a freshman in high school, my mom accidentally left the car running in the garage all night. The alarm didn’t wake my mom up but luckily I was still awake so I heard it. I had to go to the hospital for a while to get some oxygen.
