Why is there a conspiracy for everything else on the planet, but not that?

I've had precisely one pair of owned snowboard boots that I would actually call "comfortable." The rest were between "bearable" and "actually not that bad."
Of course I apparently left them in the parking lot on the mountain last year 😕

having size 18 feet means never having gotten to appreciate rental shoes, skates, and ski boots.

This interpretation of immortality is not consistent with reality. Surely your skin cells could still die and be replaced, right?
I think a reasonable interpretation of immortality is one in which the cells and/or functional cellular aggregates in your body are all capable of indefinite regeneration (e.g., "immortal" jelly fish).
Dementia wouldn't be an issue here, but you'd still be capable of dying.

There’s been a bit of a bourbon boom. Lots of new distilleries popping up. Good bourbon is usually aged 5+ years. In order to get some revenue in interim, some will sell moonshine, rye, or straight whisky while the good stuff matures. Then they discontinue the cheap stuff.

And what mind would be worth stealing? What then would I communicate to myself if I only saw others as a servant to my language or storytelling? At most the game would be a sort of "turn-based mind-stealing cooperative experience" AKA a conversation.
Now that there is no need to thieve we can rise to our purpose without greed or from chaos-seed.

Yep! Imagine starting a bourbon company. You spend money on all the equipment, employees, warehouse, computers, everything. Then you have to wait 8 years to sell anything worthwhile.
