Cursive almost already is a secret language. I can’t tell you how many people can’t read my cursive and those who can read it say it’s some of the neatest they’ve seen

Generally when people read clocks they just round the hour hand down. Also, some clocks (especially older ones) don’t gradually move the hour hand, making your point work for only some clocks.
I think the essence of the saying is that a clock represents a time based on how we read it and if the time isn’t changing on the clock then it is correct twice a day.

Reply to Not putting money into a retirement account is low key gambling that you won't be around long enough to see it again by GingeredPickle
I was literally talking today to my brother about how we need to get investing in our retirement funds.
You're in my head lol

I understand this statement. As we mature we may adopt a more long-term view and accept that some situations are not as volatile or emotionally important as we might have at a younger, more inexperienced age. It’s more of a “let’s ride this through and see how it goes” kinda thing.

What’s worse is knowing that a whole lot of people won’t even know what this is.

Not putting money in a retirement account is gambling that I can invest that money better than a bank.

Yeah you're right, it's kinda surprising that they can regrow an arm over night but can't fix poor eyesight. I was talking specifically about Harry seeing as he's the main character.

Reply to comment by longboringstory in When buying a bottle of whiskey, you pay the rent for the years it spent aging. by frankabard
The concept is true but in actuality what distilleries do is buy already aged bourbon (often from MGP) and make blends themselves that they sell under their label. See Willet as an example. They’ve been selling bourbon for a while but only in the last few years have they been selling their own distilled spirit.
