Eh. I can't speak for the movie, but without spice they're stuck with going the slow way around, the Guild loses its monopoly of all travel. The Emperor can't just drop his forces anywhere at his whim (though that requires the cooperation of the Guild). The BG have to go back to less useful methods for unlocking their ability to tap into their ancestors.

I wouldn’t even say they’re situational ironies. Irony is specifically when something is the opposite of what you expect. If someone says they have a fear of public speaking, that sets you up to expect that they would have a very private career. If they then told you that they were a professor for a Freshman class of 200 students, that would be ironic.

A fly in your chardonnay is not opposite to any expectations because the simple act of having a glass of chardonnay doesn’t set up any expectations. You’re not actively expecting there not to be a fly, so if a fly shows up, it’s simply unexpected. And unexpected and ironic are the same.

No, only a "while" pun. Makes sense after you've seen the entire "while" comment thread:

. This is one of the best shower thoughts I've seen in a long while.

. This certainly is a shower thought I’ve seen in a short while

. This is one of the shower thoughts I've seen in a long while.

. This is one of the worst shower thoughts I’ve seen in a long while.

. This is not one of the shower thoughts I've seen in a long while.

As for the showerthought (now removed), it essentially has been said before:

"Eating less reduces your waist, your waste, and your waste."

The funny part is that my parents were both…in emotionally abusive households that told them this, and I’m kind of a saint in comparison to the trouble they got into as kids. They were told that their kid was gonna end up just as awful and then…then they got me lol

Life is a buffet with many spices. Some moments are sweet and tender, others are sharp and sour, spicy, bitter, and everything in between. It's all part of the experience of being alive and should be cherished. Once we return to the void, the buffet is over.

Stated another way, it's our perception of pain that will impact the world. To hold pain in your hand and admire it for what it is, then it finally loses control over you.

I know few men that sit with pain as I do. I've become a friend to it but willing to show the world the fire is ready for you.
