My logic basically boils down to with high inflation it's harder to have a sense of what the price actually is as its changes more frequently and in various amounts.

>I would argue that the Price Is Right is the same level of difficulty or maybe even easier now with inflation as people may finally guess prices high enough to be close.

Also means its easier to go over as well if your generally closing to the number.

Always thought it was MSRP?

To you. That’s arbitrary. Again. This shower thought isn’t a shower thought but an incredibly established mathematical concept.

If you want to be a smug ass and think you have nailed it go on. But according to all mathematicians on earth you are wrong and this shower thought is right.

If you want to disagree you might as well be a flat earther.

Again feel free to completely disregard me and look it up.

A pie is 1 pie. A half a pie is a either .5 a pie or 1 half pie. It’s arbitrary. The only difference is representation. You nailed it at the beginning. Math is a construct. I’m only smart enough to understand this not explain it well perhaps since I didn’t look up a more educated way to reply.

The prices on the Price Is Right have always been completely different than what you find at your local store. They pick specific odd sizes and items to make it difficult.

After they got cleaned out by a couple that figured out where the prices came from and got everything.

I would argue that the Price Is Right is the same level of difficulty or maybe even easier now with inflation as people may finally guess prices high enough to be close.

EDIT:

I haven't gone down any Price Is Right rabbit holes in my life. Not once, not ever. ;)
