Reply to Somewhere down the evolution, we lost the skill of passing messages through peeing in bushes and corners. by [deleted]
This was a fun thought experiment! Now we pay to train dogs to smell us instead (ie like diabetes dogs, drug drugs, etc), or we put chemical-sensitive sticks in our pee to tell us what our pee is saying (like are you pregnant, have a disease, etc).

Greta is pretty cool. I got nothing against her. But this is such a low effort post

Same boat. I have to check the cover art to know what the characters look like. Was easier in the 80’s when fantasy book usually showed the main characters in a heroic pose.

Reply to comment by dan_dares in There's absolutely no way we know what dinosaur skin looks like. by zav3rmd
We can, in fact, determine the coloration of dinosaurs , given well-preserved specimens. Most of these have been pigmentation of feathers. Microraptor had iridescent black feathers like modern crows, Anchiornis had black, white and grey feathers all over its body and a crest of dark red or ochre feathers on its head, and Sinosauropteryx had rusty orange feathers over its body and white rings on its tail. However, we have been able to discern the pigmentation of a couple of non-feathered dinosaurs. Psittacosaurus was counter-shaded (dark back, pale belly) and had stripes and spots resembling camouflage patterns seen in some modern animals such as certain deer. Borealopelta was also counter-shaded in shades of brown.

Did you miss this part? They were giving famous examples, because those are people we know. People who are not famous can be just as cool as those who aren't, but if I credit "Jack, my next door neighbor" it means shit to everyone else.

When I read GOT I didn't have faces, I just kind of imagined every character in that 1800s style where they have all of their clothes but just an outline of their face. I guess my mind just didn't know what to put there. So thanks HBO for giving my characters faces.

Yea the amount of time you spend training does not decrease your relative strength. That's like saying students who study more are stupider. If you're the smartest in the class by native ability or by hard work, what difference does it make?
