We have no idea if our ancestors communicated through peeing on bushes. It seems reasonable to assume, given that a lot of our distant cousin species do it now, but a lot don’t as well.

This person has seen modern-day species and assumed that our distant ancestors did that, but it’s an assumption not an observation.

A shower thought is supposed to bring a new perspective to something common and not usually thought about in that manner. For example (and this is in the sub's description) "a gummy worm has more bones than a real worm". It's a shower thought because no one thinks about geletan being made of ground up bones.

All of this aside, the math is way off. If for the sake of argument we accept OP's claim that the universe is 1 foot smaller for the 6 foot person, we would then have to say 1 foot = 20 percent of the universe for the rest to be true. This is so far off that it is absurd. OP is wrongfully comparing the size difference between the two people (one person is 20 percent smaller than the other person) to come up with the 20 percent number instead of between each person and the universe.
