Animation absolutely screws with frame details, especially when movement is involved. Add the effect of coloring and you can easily have a bunch of scenes that look better in manga form.

That's the appeal of a book, it stretches your imagination. Example take a Bond book, the lead character could be any body, even any gender but the films have typecast the lead to being a white English male.

Nope. I have aphantasia. I have no image at all. Bilbo is just the word Bilbo.

Ok so I do not have inner monologues. Its quiet all the time for me on the head. Me myself I can't really lisen to music while playing games because I can't concentrate then.
I guess it's not connected with aphantasia.

Perhaps “gentleman” is more analogous to “maiden” hence making the masculine version “mergent”

Username checks out ... You know there is a process that predates countertop kitchen appliances called pan frying. It's pretty easy, you just fill a pan with a few inches of oil no need to get all deep with it, heat that shit up until you get bubbles from a wooden spoon. Then drop the chicken in and cook for a bit then flip to cook on the otherside.
And it doesn't stop with just chicken bro. I've made doughnuts, corn dogs, fry bread, and funnel cake. All with this same process of just using a pan and some oil. Its the fucking lifehack the restaurant industry doesn't want you to know. They are working so hard to get this fact scrubbed from the internet bro.

Probably that’s what we lost through evolution, not the message itself so the ability to decode it as we created language so yeah… actually a much interesting hypothesis, wonder if there’s some scientific investigation about it. I know some dogs can smell cancer, so who knows what info regular pee can carrie through smell.

Even after seeing the movies first, when I read The Hobbit I had different images in my head regarding the appearances of characters and locations.

This is very true. I recently read The Martian by Andy Weir and the whole time I visualized Matt Damon.

A person in a bath is, in my estimation, NOT soup. Cereal in milk might be, though.

Reply to Cold water tastes better because it usually indicates it's fresh out of the ground while warm water is usually stale and unsafe. by Craftusmaximus2
This is actually false. In my Food and Beverage college classes we learned that restaurants will serve lower quality drinks super cold or super hot bc that masks some of the taste. ie: the highest quality sake a Japanese restaurant is going to be served luke warm for the fullest flavor, while the cheapest sake is going to be served super hot so you don’t notice the lower quality in the taste.

Reply to Most everyone knows how to lose weight and be healthy, but it’s having the willpower to stick with it that is difficult. by LittleBullBoy
Yes, and for some people having the willpower is impossible. I have a chronic illness that causes debilitating fatigue and excessive daytime sleepiness, along with many other issues. I need like 25 times the willpower to be active and eat healthy versus a normal person.
