Ok but let's not pretend that if our pants did have pockets we wouldn't be complaining about rumpled pocket lines ruining the look.

Slap in the face is a perfectly acceptable way of saying it. Either are fine for each.

No, they aren't technically grilled cheese sandwiches. Taking a slice of bread out of the fridge and putting any kind of cheese on it isn't a grilled cheese sandwich, so why would a bagel be one? Most people also eat half of a bagel at once. And they eat them fresh or toast them. They don't grill or pan fry with cheese. So.. it's not grilled.. it's not a sandwich.. and there's an argument to be made about the cheese part as well.

wrong my specific imagining of the character is exactly what they look like even if it goes against the description

Nope. I loved my family and would give anything to spend holidays with them again. Now I just pretend they don’t happen. Societal expectations have never been a thing for me.

Yeah people with and without aphantasia can have a quiet mind or a inner monologue.
When youre really focused thinking about something do you think in words then? or is it some kind of other thought process? Ive heard people usually think in images when they dont have an inner monologue but i guess that wouldn't be how you do it.

Cuz it’s a societal expectation that you’re supposed to spend them with your family, if it wasn’t, you wouldn’t think that it was something you had to do

Doing this with the book called Son of Achilles. I keep picturing Brad Pitt from Troy as Achilles’s character.

Thats what I don’t get! Women actively choose to buy clothing without pockets and the. Complain about bot having pockets !! It’s so illogical !

I listen to music while driving but that's about it, I work in silence.
I don't have an internal monologue, and I don't vocalise while reading.

Now now, we all have our "holy shit I just realized how big the world actually is" shower at different times in our lives. No need to insult the man

Yes this is where a woman's "maiden" name comes from. Maid is actually closer to "virgin" than "unmarried" - but in ye olde times those were hand in hand. This is why you might hear of a "maiden voyage" for a ships first sail, because the ship is still virgin.
