This is inane. Commas are very important for proper understanding of a sentence, are commonly used, etc.
To even consider this, you likely aren't aware of many punctuation marks: https://proofed.com/writing-tips/7-unusual-punctuation-marks-you-never-knew-existed/ How can you say the comma is the "least useful" when you've never even used many of the punctuation marks
