everything causes cancer.
Red meat causes cancer.
Cigarettes cause cancer.
Just look at the list of things the state of CA know causes cancer.

All of the ways we use to forget problems cause more problems. Typically because ignoring problems doesn't solve them.

That is true for me and I thought that was true for everyone, but my ex-wife, who was dyslexic, explained that she has to concentrate on reading each word, so just looking at a word would mean nothing to her.

I definitely cannot read “texts” of ancient languages or Russian, Arabic, etc, but I can look at it. I’d rephrase this to, “You can’t look at text and not read it for languages you know”.

That is a limited materialistic view, but if you recognize the universal spirit of life that unites all humans, this becomes clear. You look beyond differences and accept those who hate you because it does not have to affect you. It is a deficiency of maturity and intelligence in them. It is not about you. It is an egoic assumption of the fearful, controlling mind of conscious humans. One that you do not have to subscribe to.
If you wish to experience the freedom that comes with acceptance, that is. I am not saying love for all is the unconditionality. I am saying that when you do love someone, truly, it is without expectations and restrictions of your mind's image of what "should be."
And I meant this more in the context of familial/romantic/friend relationships.

Erm. Racism. Sexism. Homophobia. There are lots of things that are unconditional hate. Doesn't matter what you do to them or for them, they will still hate you just for being you.
Also unconditional love is a result of oxytocin. Not the mind or the (imaginary) soul.

Most people drink coffee in the morning because they want caffeine. The bowel benefits are a byproduct.

I love when women give me flowers. You have to give more than you receive men!
