Tried it once, the sex was fine. But we got into an argument afterwards and she got all bent out of shape over it, we never spoke again.

When the gas price goes down...thank god for big government...when the gas price goes up...greedy corporations.

Something like 10% of all people in Australia are millionaires, so we're sort of there already.

The Tooth Fairy in Terry Pratchett's Discworld has investments that yield sufficient funds to keep the business going. It also outsources the actual work to independent contractors.

Nah...what truly makes you feel old is when your kids say "okay, but you were born in the 1900s! You remember Google being invented!" as an argument for basically Parents Just Don't Understand lol

It depends on what the inflation rate is. In the US, it’s 6.5% per annum. If you earned 4% and didn’t spend any of it, you’d still be effectively losing money.
However, if someone is at the end of their life, perhaps it doesn’t matter so much.

That's amazing! Sign language is a great way to communicate and its speed of travel is even more impressive. Thanks for sharing this fun fact with us.

It was either Friedman or Fogel who wrote the paper.

Simple to control too back then. I can't grasp how sensitive the control of movements are now. I crash cars at the starting line and on COD I run while either looking at the floor or sky!!

Depends on health. All my 80 plus relatives are deeply unhappy with limited quality of life. All have openly said they'd like to die already. I try to help them as best I can. I've moved in with my grandparents to support them now Nana is terminally ill. I dont want to live past 75. I've seen some shit and it's not looking good for me genetically speaking.

Can't beat some originals though. I haven't touched a game consol for at least 15 years but would go on it now if it had these originals Rayman, Sonic, Crash Bandicoot, Laura Croft, Need for Speed or best of all Vigilante 8!!
