Nice try. They are grinded down into a fine powder and sold as "protein powders" to douche bags

Literally watching the wife strip all the pillows and cushions off the couch. I look her dead in the eyes and ask , are you sure you checked under the cushions.

My family did this to me
Not a single time in my entire life the remote was under me yet they continue to do it to this day even when I don't watch TV anymore
Their reasons is because I'm fat and i " take more m² than the rest of family "

Ha! We hear you, trust is an important thing but sometimes it's best to double check - just in case ;)

Their parents also made living wages and weren’t living paycheck to paycheck.

According to this theory, my high school yearbook would be a cave painting .

I knew I was old one day when I walked into Urban Outfitters to shop for my daughter and there was a whole display of turntables and albums and it was supposed to be this hip retro thing and I was like, "Wait a minute, I remember using these things." When there is nostalgia for a time period you clearly remember, you're old.

That's an "and", not a "no". God knows many people are still pressured. And I know for me and many of my friends it's the reasons I described.

Having 1m in assets is not rich, most detach houses in Canada or USA are around 1 mil alone.
Id say rich is 1mil per year income.

My house is worth around $800k (5 bedrooms). I have about 25k in the bank. I haven't worked for years (mental health issues) but can comfortably live because I have lodgers in the house. I enjoy living with the other people so it works great.
