Oh my god lighten up. Why would someone spread misinformation about this subject? So no more humour for anyone in these terrible times. Unless it is scientifically accurate ofcourse

Reply to Having a day off to do nothing is considered bad if you’re depressed but good if you’re not depressed by themetahumancrusader
There's a bad nothing and a good nothing.
E.g.
- I had good long night's sleep.
- Had a cup of coffee.
- Went to the swimming pool.
- Read a book.
- Played my favourite computer game.
- Ordered delicious takeaway for lunch.
- Played with my cat for two hours.
- Binged an amazing TV show before bed.
- Went to bed early, feeling good and fell asleep immediately.

Vs.
- Woke up tired.
- Lied on the floor, face down the whole day sad.
- Went to bed after midnight, but couldn't fall asleep.

Reply to We actually back our way through life. We see the past like it's in front of us but the future is invisible, behind us. by SteamStarship
That is actually how the romans and Greeks conceptualised time. Whereas we say things like ‘the is behind us’ they would say ‘the future is behind us’

Lot of people are barely scraping by, so not many are willing to shell out for a subscription to tell them shit is indeed, fucked.
Remind me of the comic with the newsboy selling "How to avoid the alt right pipeline", for a $10 a month. When asked if there's anything they can read that doesn't require a subscription, he directs them to another newsboy giving away free copies of "How to join the alt right pipeline".

I am in agreement! This completely changes my life! This dreaded nut allergy has haunted me for decades. To know now, that peanuts are no longer nuts but legumes opens up so many new eating adventures!

Can you really blame people for pushing accuracy over humour in a time where so much misinformation is spread (both maliciously and via incomprehension by the reader) via jokes and memes?

Close, but no. It was the little clit in the middle of the keyboard that nobody uses.

Omnivore does not cancel out predatory nature, grizzly bears are omnivores but I just saw a video of a wedding interrupted by a grizzly getting real predatory on a moose. Carnivore herbivore and omnivore refer to diet, predator and prey are behavioral.

Terminal is fast, as many pointed out already.
Also, terminal is the most basic user interface. No one will make a graphic user interface with icons and labeled buttons for some obscure setting that tha hacker will use as a backdoor.
