Right but an antivaxxer might say something about the strong surviving, dont mess with nature, etc. that argument works in the simplest sense, because it disregards any ancestors that arent direct ones as weak and irrelevant lol. Obviously its a flawed argument when you think critically for more than three seconds.

Pull out your hands and start counting from 1
You'll reach 10 at your last finger
Do the same but start with 0 You'll find out that from 0-10 is eleven numbers not 10

Technically impossible and 'practically impossible because of astronomical statistical improbability' aren't technically the same thing, but they're basically the same thing.

Wishing for something doesn't make it more likely.

Sure, there’s a roughly 8*10^57 chance that it’s happened.

Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three.

You should try that out loud, and see how many numbers you say between 1 & 10.

So it’s possible. Might even have already happened. In fact, in the deck shuffle per second scenario there is a microscopic chance it happens each second.
It like trying to explain Mean time between failures. If it’s a million hours then there is 1 millionth of a chance per hour that the failure occurs.

Sounds like you and your parents were pretty dumb.
Parents are supposed to constantly teach their children. This is basic biology.

I’m so old I remember listening to Never Gonna Give You Up when it was first released.
I never mind being rickrolled, it’s just another chance to listen to one of my favourite pop songs of my childhood

That's exactly how it was where I lived in the US, as a teen goth in the 90s... Though I think the bullying sounds like it's a lot worse these days.
If anyone ever tried to bully me, I didn't even care so they just moved on to someone else... Too bad the same thing doesn't work if someone is sexually harassing you.
