Simply put new stuff is made with cheaper and crappier materials than the old stuff.

Reply to comment by HypnoticRoots in Parents hate homework just as much, if not more than their kids. by PeculiarPete
Safe bet you're a stay at home parent? Unfortunately, working parents days don't end when work does. There is still a pile of house work to be done, make dinner, do dishes, wash laundry, and whatnot. As much as I'd love to just sit down and spend all that time with my kids, there is easily an hour after I get home where I'm working that the kids can do work too. The routine is they get free time from when they get home from school around 3:30 until I get home around 5:30. Then everyone gets their work done, dinner around 6:30 which we all eat together. Then we usually have another hour or so after that for family time.

Raspberries too, sometimes.
I bought some raspberries recently only to discover that some of them still had a stem plugging up the hole. Those stems are definitely butt-plug shaped.

I don’t mean reverse the negatives, I mean invert the temperatures. That way, absolute zero becomes 1/0(infinity), which makes sense cuz it’s physically impossible to reach

Yes but no. Anyone can invent a word but it’s also not really a word if nobody else in the world uses it or knows what it means.

Before Payless Shoes went out of business they opened a fake “Paylesi “ and “sold” their $12 shoes as luxury products for a commercial. And people fell for it.
Look for fit or quality or durability in products. Don’t fall for luxury branding alone

A lot of Cereal don't need milk/liquid to be eaten…
I personally eat my Mini Wheats/Krave/Avoine Croquante bare hand like chips.

That's true, but it doesn't mean you can't make lifelong friends at school! Just keep your eyes open and don't be afraid to take a chance on someone who could turn out to be an amazing friend.

All words were invented at some point. Beforehand we relied on sticks and stones to communicate. Lessons were more painful back then.

IMO this is a myth. For 90%+ people, money is just a tool to live a "comfortable" live, for the lack (or lazyness to find) a better word. For some people money in a large enough amount provides something like "power", but that is probably only true for a minority At this point i'd still say it is not money that controls people but greed Money is not the root of all evil or anything else like that but just a means to fullfill needs and get resources

It'd be kind of pointless. We know the point at which things cannot get colder. I'm not sure there is a point at which things can't get hotter.

Reply to Adults only curse around adults. Kids only curse around kids. Everyone curses, its just taboo across generations. by Chipbread
I absolutely curse in front of my kids (teens), and I don't mind if they do it in front of me as long as they are using those words properly for emphasis. I don't allow them to just nonchalantly drop the f bomb, and they know they can't do it in front of other adults.
When they curse, I know they're REALLY upset about something.
