for the zombies to do most zombie things, they would have to be alive. Which contradicts that one zombie thing where they're supposed to be dead.

Chilli's grow and get spicy and it should be hard to eat spicy things for humans so we can say that Philly's grow and be spicy so humans can't eat them as it will be harder to eat spicy things.

It is reanimated though. Where else would the blood go? At some point it would leak out or just pool up at the lowest points of the body...

Usually people do use fatigued to distinguish between something like a small cold or a flu. They have similar symptoms but usually a flu is accompanied by fatigue and reduction in strength. It's why fatigue is usually one of the options along side tiredness and muscle aches when describing illnesses to a nurse.
