This is half the reason I only own 2 of everything. The other reason is my temper but that's why I'm in therapy.(not proud but working on it and making progress... PTSD, apparently. And dishes are a trigger.)
The fewer dishes there are, the smaller the pile can be.
It also helps to rinse and neatly stack them as you set them by the sink. Makes the job less daunting.

Same day of the year. Day of the week is Monday, Tuesday, etc. and is absolutely not correct.
We used to celebrate Washington and Lincoln's birthdays separately. They are a week apart. It was changed to President's Day on a Monday to make it easier for the government to grant it as a federal holiday.
I frankly would prefer that we do that with Independence Day and New Year's Day. They should be Friday or Saturday so I can get some sleep before work on Monday without fireworks going off at all hours of the day, night, and early morning.

Reply to We created the letter G to specifically deal with the hard 'g' sound, yet here we are calling it a 'jee'. by KeckyOK
No. “G” was first introduced by the automobile company Jeep in 1921, but back then it was spelled Geep. When GM bought them they wanted the G for themselves and changed the spelling to Jeep with a “J”.

Cats actually take 25 minutes instead of 90 to enter REM sleep but yeah it's probably not the majority

??? Which is not what the shower thought is about . I suppose the sentence can be a little ambiguous.
It is impossible to have more descendents than your ancestors (have).
Rephrased, your ancestors always have more descendents than you do.
It's not "it is impossible to have more descendents than you (have) ancestors"

Just because you don’t remember the dream it doesn’t mean you’re not dreaming. What you do remember you’re actually not supposed to.

Idk about bittersweet, but that’s better than being cut from the worst team in the league.

Reply to comment by Tucker_the_Nerd in Unsolved Mysteries is Redundant by Tucker_the_Nerd
Yeah. It's obvious what you were thinking along the lines of...real life situations. But those don't apply here. It doesn't matter if it's a book or TV. Genres still apply whenever a story is being told. People who search for "mystery" books or films, are specifically searching for a "who done it" scenario where the crime is always solved by the end. And part of the fun is trying to figure out the answer...because you know there is one.
"Unsolved Mysteries" is telling crime stories that can't be solved and have no answer....which breaks away from everything "Mystery" as a genre, is defined by. Therefore "Unsolved Mysteries" is not redundant.

then, for clarity, OP should have added the words "as each other" to the sentence.
Any-Obligation22 t1_ja4twe7 wrote
Add the words " as each other" to the end of that thought and it actually makes sense. Something to do with 2 months with the same number of days perhaps? Pick any dates that fall on the same day of the week from any 2 months that have the same number of days and it will be true I think? I haven't tested it extensively but seems to be true.
