Reply to Manners and social etiquettes are the art of telling people the truth without hurting their feelings. by hearsdemons
Some people know the truth, just doesn't want to bother doing what is considered socially accepted, they're comfortable being who they are. Maturity is about self preservation, and if you had your feelings hurted because of someone else behaviour maybe the problem is on you and transferring this to another person instead of fix yourself is easier.

The world is bigger than the US. I have only said the world/planet. Your "evidence" is wrong, it is too narrow. But let me just throw in a random link too, just to show you how it looks, if you just post links http://www.bandolier.org.uk/booth/Risk/birthday.html

>It sounds cliche, but thinking about how many people have lived full lives, struggled, fallen in love, fought desperately for something they cared about only to inevitably die and quickly fade away as if none it mattered in the slightest, it's very humbling; somehow its also so freeing.
maybe it's cliche, but the way you expressed it was quite nice.

Maybe the repetition is nature keeping some sort of equilibrium.

Show me I'm mathematically wrong then.
If nothing else, there is 1/365 it is your birthday today.

If I point to any person on the planet, statically the chance of it being their birthday is 1/365. That is how that works.

No, it is not. Not even close. If you are in the US, the month that has the most birthdays is August, which then skews the likelihood of drawing a specific date. Dude, pay attention in maths.

Don't all animals have an internal clock consisting of 24 hours? I feel like that'd be true if they slept for entire days but idk

You don’t understand probabilities then. If all factors are equal, then sure, but human interactions are cyclical, resource dependent, and have extrinsic factors that cause fluctuations in birthing rates, thus creating an unequal distribution map. You’re wrong.
