Not this year. It’s been unusual and unexpected over and over.

But we have a bunch of death engines that override any of this stuff, there's a reason we dominate the planet ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Don't see a lot of prime-time commercials for any appliance, it seems.

I read faster than I speak and I'll bet you do too. I can also think while I read. Most people should be able to. Try it out for yourself. You can look at a word that has 4 syllables and understand it faster than you could probably read it.

Reply to Humans can’t be paid for organ donation but they can be paid to grow a human being as a surrogate. by pregaftertwobeans
There isn't a (life saving) organ you can donate that wouldn't put you at least somewhat at risk - kidney, liver segment, etc. Organ donors have to undergo a ton of evaluation to make sure they're donating for the right reasons and will be capable of dealing with the possible outcomes. Incentivising that with money would be a bad idea because people who shouldn't donate would offer themselves up.
You CAN, however, make bank on hair, plasma, eggs, bone marrow, and plenty more.
