I’ve had it twice, and while I don’t avoid the foods that I suspect were the culprit, I’m definitely paranoid about any and everything that I eat now. If it’s even 0.001% questionable, I don’t eat it.

Food poisoning can have other effects as well, I was painfully violently vomiting, causing one section of my small intestine to wrap tightly around another section, choking off my digestive system, and it hurt like hell, the DR cut me open, fished around in my slippery intestines, then:. I once knew a dude who got food poisoning from a burger, and thereafter would only eat his steaks well done. I judged the shit out of him for that

I bit the fork all the time as a kid. Now, as an adult, I tend to know where the fork is.

I got it from a Whataburger once and nope that never even slowed me down

Yeah I nearly choked on some chicken one time, like proper choked, I managed to dislodge it myself though. Anyway, I still wolf down food that's too hot and don't chew it enough.

I also had food poisoning once when I was younger but it didn't stop me from eating a slightly moldy samosa for a fiver one time.

I mean, any corporate shithole like that is best avoided.

Products are poor quality with suspect handling prior to getting to the restaurant. Restaurant staff are underpaid, understimulated, and abused, and probably have limited pride in their work because there’s no art to cooking corporate trash. And thus anyone with talent leaves and they’re stuck with the dregs, who tend to care less about food safety protocols etc.

Management are pressed to be as efficient as possible with products, so are more likely to serve things past their prime

yup, sweet and sour shrimp, got food poisoning twice from that same dish, from two different restaurants, in two different states
