You're not actually saying anything. You're lost in a semantic hole. Neurons doing things IS what we mean by free will. You, you bundle of neurons, have agency in the world. Read some Dennett and chill

Try blinking in the mirror and catch your eyelids closed. Not possible.

If you record yourself blinking then you can watch yourself blink.

Same. I can 100% attest to this thought.

This is the Clifford lore we needed.

I mean I like endulging in this Showerthought, but isn't it canon that Emily Elizabeth's love and care magically enlarged Clifford, who was once a normal sized dog with normal eyes, meaning it was at no point implied to have been biological growth.

My dad couldn’t keep a job and when he did it was never enough to support us. Mom worked too and so did I from like 5-6 years old to pay bills.
Not a woe is me because while I resent some lost childhood, I learned how to cook, sew, be entrepreneurial, paint, construction, clean, iron, landscaping, work on.a farm, and basically be independent and not count on others at a very early age.

Or a drunk driver.
I heard that statistically there are more drunks on the road at noon than there are at 10pm or whenever.

Are you mentally ill? It’s been 3 minutes since you last responded to me. Did it even occur to you that I’m not sitting here, just waiting to instantly respond to you.

What the hell does it have to do with fear? Lol it’s the only alternative. If we didn’t have free will we would be solely reacting to stimuli without choice as to how we react.
I feel like maybe you’re really confused about what I’m saying or just bizarrely hostile for no reason lol

Glad I’m not the only one who has thought of that. I always get an intrusive thought when I’m on a two lane road that the person coming towards me is gonna stroke or seizure and hit me head on. Gotta love anxiety

Nope. Acted like an adult for the first 12 years of my life. Completely went downhill and now I'm trapped in a state of arrested development.
