Reply to comment by unneccry in Remember that whenever you find hair in your food, those are only the times that you saw the hair by _shower_feelings_
Not trying to split hairs here, but that statement is inherently false. There's no way for you to know how many hairs you don't notice, and therefore no way that you can claim that the percentage of hairs you do notice equates to "most". For all you know, for every hair you do notice chewing there are 100 more that pass undetected.

I can assure you that they do. Not as much as most people but they still get caught up in traffic jams and the like.

Reply to comment by wubbbalubbadubdub in Spring and summer have almost the exact same amount of daylight hours because the longest day falls on the first day of summer by youpviver
Um what? We know the tilt of the axis is what changes the daylight hours.
And Summer is literally defined as starting on the Summer Solstice. All the seasons officially start on their solstice or equinox.
Summer is warmer than spring because the (average) temperature is a bit laggy. The longer days take a while to actually get the surface to warm up.

Don't take this as an attack at all, it's not (I don't even know if English is your first language) but you can use "they" instead of "he/she" and "sibling" instead of "sister/brother". I find generally it's quicker to write and smoother to read, but it's up to you of course.

As the clock strikes midnight leading up to their 21st birthday, it was yesterday.

Of course they can.
Your birthday is [x] years after you were born.
Think of the French Revolution, when they changed the names of the days of the month. People who were born in Thermidor didn't stop having birthdays because they changed the name back.

Only if your house is not located on the planet. The interior of your house is part of the planet.

You can cool your house by shooting the heat into space. That cools the planet. That is not how most people cool their house, you could.

It does if you heat your house using AC instead of burning fuel

Ok so there are a few things wrong with this thought.
First summer has more daylight hours than because of the effect of the tilt on the Earth's axis.
Second the summer solstice for the northern hemisphere will be June 21st, which is not the first day of summer.
