Yes, but you agreed with, "I chose to do the work myself, which rewards me with a lot of money to spend on whatever I want." And I'm saying that it's not really a choice if the other option is death

True, but really that is the basic choice given to us by nature.
There are more equitable societal arrangements, but none will remove the requirement that you contribute in exchange for participation.

All of this is true, but he was not beatified until 1446, so before that he was not Saint Nick!

Here’s the thing: Many don’t really understand the scope of wealth that some of those people have. You’re right, managers for example do bear a lot of responsibility, and I don’t think it’s totally wrong that some of them, managing huge companies, can earn well into the 6-digit territory annually. But above that, the returns of your wealth diminish pretty quickly. So a millionaire and a billionaire probably have a similar quality of life, yet the billionaire is A THOUSAND TIMES richer than the millionaire. There is no reason that a single human being should have that much wealth.

Agreed that we’re not near a real revolution. But I don’t like the both sides narrative. One side is in a position of power to make change. It’s not an attitude of rich people being lazy or greedy or whatever. I have no issue with rich people in general. I just think it’s absolutely unjustifiable that the wealthiest 1% has more wealth than the bottom 50%, and we have people starving in the land of plenty. And one of those two sides has the power to make that change. And I’m not talking about like, well paid athletes, musicians, lawyers, whatever. I’m explicitly talking about capital owners and the top 1%

Nicholas was sainted because he stole money from the Roman Church/State and threw it in the windows of the poor families with daughters. So they could pay the dowry and buy a husband, instead of being forced into sex work.
So pre-Sainthood was the first visits by the reverse home invader.

None? Did Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates not use a lot of their qualifications to build their businesses

lot just bangs his daughters
but i wouldnt say that's a black spot for the bible, because lot was just some guy and the immediate follow-up is that from these two unions most of israel's main enemy nations are created
the whole story actually only exists so that the Israelites can mock their enemies and says 'haha you're descended from incest'. And the enemies in question have their own histories, which are also very likely inaccurate

the bible never forbids banging your cousin
it also never forbids slavery. Or rape

it's always acceptable to have sex with whomever you want as long as there's meaningful and enthusiastic consent from all parties involved

None of the richest maybe, but some of the most successful in their fields - medicine, science, engineering etc. they all had degrees, their degrees were essential, and they got their success as a result. Success is more than money

They probably did have to go through the motions of being qualified for what they do just everything was right there for em, their parents knew the right people and never had to shop around and make mistakes but hey, survival of the fittest or smartest or….. grimiest? I’m broke because I value doing nothing more than money, it’s a life choice just like suckn dick, if anything you should be mad at your parents for bringing you into a race that they couldn’t prepare you for🤷🏻♂️ I’m losing too, buck up champ

Unfortunately everyone does not have a purpose, but I do hope everyone finds a purpose that suits them.
