It is, but it’s more due to the fact that the heart is a muscle. It’s not like the heart is still alive in that state or anything.

Yeah, they actually learned the rules.
Who among us with English as a first language actually uses the word "whom"? Because we're absolutely supposed to.

Muscles will do that. I don’t see this as a good argument for hearts being important

> Kansas and Arkansas pronunciation
Arkansas was part of the Louisiana Purchase, it was originally named by the French. It is a little surprising the Americans still pronounce it how it was originally named, given how everything between Detroit and New Orleans was named by the French, and for the most part Americans can't pronounce any of it.

But the heart self regulates and if put in a solution of salt and potassium it will pump without input from a brain!

Learned the basics in school and the vocabulary from yt, movies and music. English is one of the easiest languages to learn imo since most content one comes across in the web is english

Humans are the only species we know able to express a more complicated relationship with gender than agree with biological sex.
If my biologically male dog had the... [Sound of a hard drive defragging itself as a very Cis Male who does not understand the trans experience well enough to articulate this tries to anyway] I guess the mindset and identity of a girl dog, do you think we'd be able to tell the difference? How much would the dog understand the disconnect, and would they be able to express anything of the sort to us?
I would interpret it much more that we don't know how animals feel in a lot of cases, only how they act. With language, we're relatively skilled at communicating how we feel to other humans, which is the only reason very Cis people like me can know that trans and nonbinary people are who they are.

Reply to You will never see your death certificate by v3xpunk
I decided enough is enough. Time to prove some random internet stranger wrong. I write up a plan and put everything in place over the course of several years. Next, I enact my plan. Sell my things, catch a bus to a cheap area, and grab my documents. Upon arrival, I make a few purchases and grease the palms of those that would be useful. Through a carefully formulated psychological warfare strategy, I simultaneously get rid of those who stand in my way and gain capital through my venture. The factory is printing death certificates on the cheap for the whole of my country. I watch every single certificate as it's being made. It's at this juncture that I know that I will have seen my own death certificate for sure so long as I never sleep. I realize I could just have gone to a single coroner's as I was dying and taken a quick glance at their blank death certificates...
TLdR: I have too much free time and manufacture death certificates, but that backfires

There are so many gender fluid species. Homosexual acts have also been seen in the primate communities…
