Everyone's morals are subjective lmao, it's phillosophy, it's subjective by definition. Eating meat is part of nature. We may take it to an extreme, but if it was so reprehensable and evil, i'd argue it wouldn't happen in nature.

What's fucked up is our lack of respect for the food we eat. The waste, the cruelty of factory farming, that part of it.

I’m probably in quite a few. Went on a tour in China and got held up in the Forbidden City for about 45 minutes when a line formed of people taking pictures with me and randomly giving me their babies to take a picture with. Was odd, but our guide said it’s not uncommon to happen from time to time when a foreigner looks uniquely different. I guess being 6’4” and having long blue hair was what drew people that day.

We're speaking practically rather than technically here:

Nearly 90% of humans live in the northern hemisphere. People who were developing mapping and navigation techniques did so primarily in the northern hemisphere. So for them, 'north on top' was not arbitrary at all but rather very practical.

Its very ressource efficient to clear water in a water treatment plant. Way better than every household having to purify water themselfs by boiling it. And now that we already have it it would be just stupid to build a complete second system just for dirt bowl water.

What people can do and what is becoming quiet popular is to buils tanks for rainwater and use that to do stuff like flushing toilets or watering plants. But that rather little bit of piping (when building new, retro-fitting is a pain in the ass) costs very little. Waaaaaay better, cheaper and efficient than building an entirely new network.
