Disagree there is a geographical reason and the reason is most of the land mass of the earth, and its most populous countries, are north of the equator. Therefore, it does make sense.

Cool. Do you think that change represents moral progress?

back in the 90s I moonlit as a bouncer for about a year. It was at a dive bar called "Gussie Lamour's" in Hawaii.
When a customer needed to be kicked out, we took pleasure in making sure their heads hit the door jam on the way out.

I recognize that I'm phrasing the question differently in order to try to get to a relevant answer. I understand that these questions can be interpreted in different ways and recognize that you're trying to answer the exact question I'm asking. I appreciate the honesty.
I'm confused by this answer though. Do you, as the person you are today, think it's a good thing that slavery has been officially and largely abolished?

I was once in the background of a pic a guy clicked, who later shared that pic on whatsapp story and was friend of my one friend. She saw his story and sent me the ss of it. I had no idea who the guy was but what a small world man.

No there isn't, but trust me when I saw we save a ton of hassle with common conventions like these.

Forgive me for asking but when did you ask that?
That depends on the society I grew up in at the end of the day. If I grew up in Europe in the 1740s then yes slavery would be morally wrong, if I grew up a white family in the Caribbean in the 1810s then yes. If I grew up in the Northern USA in the 1830s then yes, I'd I were born in the South sometime after the civil war then probably. But if I was born before then then I probably would say no slavery is right.

Consistency. It is easier to understand maps if they are all orientated the same way. Otherwise you have to study each map to find which direction it is showing you. That might be okay if you are only looking at one map, but gets confusing if you are looking at several maps.

I'm not sure how you come to the conclusion that "waste" is fucked up, but owning another individual isn't.
I don't need to demonstrate that morality is objective in order to examine your reasoning. Why do you think it's ok for one individual to own another as property?

No. I never went anywhere as a kid, we were dirt poor. As an adult, I do not leave the house unless it is the grocery pick up. So, while the chance is not 0% it is really close to that.
