I saw a medieval map in Stockholm that had the south up

Ancient Egyptian maps had south at the top. Likely because the Nile River started in the south and flowed north.

There's a projection that corrects for area and puts south on top, I remember it from an episode of West Wing - here's an example:

I know ancient Egypt oriented their maps with south facing up. That’s the way the river flowed.

not me realizing that when you’re doing a strenuous activity, you have to consciously breathe heavier when I was like 15. I thought it would just happen when necessary? Few times I even passed out due to lack of oxygen.

We used to face maps to the East - that’s why you can “orient” your map to the Oriental. It’s literally the origins of those two words.

That's not what I'm saying, if a human can or can't doesn't determine there right to be free, it's a matter of species not individual

It's a relatively modern convention. I've seen plenty of C17th maps that place north at the right of the map.

The public wanting that type of spectacle never went away, it's now more prevalent than ever with more genres of horrific things for people to witness, I believe they call the focus people of the spectacles "influencers"...
there are also websites dedicated to watching people die.

Ok, so an individual's ability changes the value in not having them be property, and if the value in them not being property is low enough for the rest of society, then it's ok for them to be property?

You’re already assuming an “axis = vertical” model in that justification.
There’s no particular reason to think that the sun moving East-West means that East-West has to be side to side.
Maybe the sun is falling from “up” to “down” and the poles are the sides of the Earth.
