Curious if it's worth the price point - esp for a date night making it twice as expensive!
Also if you have tried any other cooking classes nearby you'd recommend I'd love to hear about them too :)

i’ve been wondering the same too!
Been wondering the same thing. Also curious to know if the food at the cafe is good
Does everyone have their own station and make their own food? I've been a class in Little Italy where each couple was assigned a portion of the menu and we all ate family style. It was delicious and the teacher went over everything but it was little less hands on the entire recipe than I expected
Did you get a full meal out of it? It does look like all the menus are hefty with apps, main course, side and dessert which sounds like it would be worth the price
Is it encouraged to socialize like would you make friends? or is it pretty individual and better suited for dates?
The way I see it, you would pay about that much for a very nice date night plus drinks, so it kind of balances out
I miss Sur La Table in White Plains! Thanks for mentioning this one.
I've gone up to the CIA in Hyde Park to take classes and adored them. The baking workshops were basic (but delicious), but the real fun was a multi-day bootcamp where they really let us loose in the kitchens. We started with reviewing the menus in a classroom and talking food science, then got to the kitchen with a little direction and a lot of support. Really felt like a pro walking around that classroom and trying new things. (To do that one I got a hotel up there so I didn't have to drive back and forth.)
We shared a station with another couple. We divided the cooking in half but if you asked you could probably do something on your own. It was all hands on and there were 3 chefs walking around helping.
Yea full meal, was stuffed. Socializing wasn't encouraged but everyone was talking at their stations. I think it would work for single, friends or family
oh i didnt realize that was less than 2 hours away, ill def look into CIA! Thanks!!
awesome, thanks so much for the insight!

I got a couple of breakfast sandwiches and a latte last weekend. I thought everything was very good.

I went with my girlfriend, it was one of my Xmas presents. We really enjoyed it. We did the steak cooking class. Lots of food to eat. The groups were nice and we went with another couple for drinks so worked out well
