A few weeks ago, I had a Semi + Trailer backing up on the Merritt, maybe around exit 30..... That was a fun traffic jam.

Stop with that “the” 405 and “the” 95. You’re on the better coast now. 😂

Really?! I don’t think it’s nearly as bad as the 405 in LA. But then again I usually take the 15 instead of the 95.

Honestly. Summer Fridays during 5pm rush hour will take you longer. Get yourself a good playlist

95 is always horrible lol. I try to avoid that if I can and take 15

Took me 5 hours once to drive from Pelham, NY to Stamford a decade or so ago. Wind storm, downed trees caused them to close the Merritt on both sides. A ton of downed trees on side roads only compounded the issue. 😢

Ah okay well at least those are isolated incidents. You can expect backup on 95 everyday haha

There was an incident a few weeks ago where someone was on the tracks at Fordham or hit by a train which delayed the AM rush significantly.

Then this past weekend weather related issues on the New Canaan Branch with downed wires.

Again things happen, but I take the railroad 5x a week to NYC and it’s mostly reliable. Also saves me money on gas 🤓

The Railroad has its issues too. But it’s nowhere near as bad as I-95 rush hour traffic 🤣

This is why more people need to use the metro north. Never any traffic on the tracks!
