There's a group of guys that get morning runs in at the LA fitness on Summer St on Mon-Fri from around 9:30 - 12p. Those are mostly games of 3v3 and 4v4. I've heard that the evening runs there start at about 5 pm and that's more packed up full court runs. The courts there are nice and upkept for the most part.

  • Scalzi park has some decent runs in the nice weather, but keep in mind that there's one full court there.
  • The Lionel park, I could be mistaken with that name, by the Boys and Girls Club has good runs in nice weather as well. Two full courts there so there's usually a good chance for getting runs in the afternoon and evening.

I had the same question moving here from NY as well lol. So I'm staying tuned in for any more that I can get from your post.

Sorry about that, not too familiar with other practices nearby but it may just be normal for the area. I have only done the hydrafacial once and it was a treat. You may have to go into the city or other parts around it for better prices.

I will say this is the most expensive place I have lived when it comes to aesthetic services (and in general). I haven’t really invested too much time into finding my go-to places for my massages, mani/pedis, or waxing since moving here because I know it’s not going to be in a range I’m willing to pay. Even my salon is too much.

protected bike lanes and additional sidewalks would be game changers. also, Harbor Point is seriously lacking in the restaurant department. Sign of the Whale and Mexicue are subpar. would love to see additional restaurant options, a convenience store, and World of Beer to reopen (or something similar in that space).
