I love how her imagination is getting the governments approval to have a non-real animal.
If you dream big too you can figure out other things that don’t need a liscense, but extends over reaching government control, so we will make a liscense for it.

For me, how we calculate GDP is so out of date that it is meaningless.
Not only is GDP an odd set of factors, GDP is also missing a ton of other valuations which I see as better reflecting ‘production.’
Our economic analysis is so out of date that it is pointless to even read them.

Okay thank you But there are a few questions here remaining Is it permitted to just buy Forrest and doing nothing with it in your country ? Because here you have strict obligation what you have to do when you are the owner of a Forest

So Yoda learn:
The first year, you have 100 Sqm..the second 200..in 50 years you have 5000 Sqm and you don't cut the trees...
At the point you die, you have recovered it all, if you take the allowed 3T CO2 per year.
And if you donate your trees to the CO2 protection area the next generation will be happy..

I don't know where you got your calculation from but at a first glance it seems that it would not even cover my footprint. I'm going with 10t on average per year for a person from my country
But I'm happy to learn

ANY methanol is already stored somewhere. Some in the form of crude oil underground.

Carbon capture is a hoax. Don't fall for it. It's only reason to exist is to let companies make insane amounts of money for vapor.

Yes, exactly. I battled depression and suicidal tendencies when I was younger but that's different than "end of life care" for people who are terminal.

u/_Gandalf_the_Ghey_ I can totally understand why that people might think that it was retconned and not traditional, but in this specific case it doesn't happen to be that way. I would honestly say that it is more like people are now re-embracing the mythology after a multi-decade period of rejection of it because of assimilation into mainstream American culture. You will definitely see some elders shunning people who identify as something other than "man" or "woman", especially if they are not fulfilling very traditional gender roles otherwise.
The genders like this have been recorded by non-native authors as early as the 1800s and is a part of the Diné creation myth that has been told for thousands of years! Plus, it isn't really a precise fit for modern western conceptions of gender - or especially of sexuality. For example, in traditional Navajo society (at least as I was taught, again), it is not acceptable to be a masculine gay man. If you are a person who forms romantic/sexual relationships with men, it is only okay if you are otherwise fulfilling a strict feminine role in Navajo society, and that is definitely out of step with modern American sensibilities of sexuality.
Plus Navajo hair is pretty difficult to dye blue in my experience. =P

Yes I don't disagree with you, just wondered if it would be a better solution long-term because you don't tell me to let it be instead you're trying to tell every person on earth to please let the trees grow

Methanol sourced in this way would represent carbon already in the cycle. That's very different than adding excess carbon to the system.

Your grandma is my goal!!!! Mine did, too, until she was 82 years old. As long as I'm mobile, happy, and healthy I'll be quite happy to be on this planet! But once my body (or mind) give out to the point of dependency for the rest of my life, I plan on giving myself an altruistic exit.

What happens with trees when they are burned ? As far as I know they are releasing everything back into the environment.

The average person in the US creates 16 tons of co2, so ~$625 a year or $52 a month. We pay more than that for our cell phones. Let's put this thing online and start embedding a $10 carbon capture tax in airfare and $5-10 for a license plate and a couple of pennies per gallon in gas. Even if that only pulls 25% of the co2 out of the air it's a great start. Hopefully the economy of scale would kick in and reduce costs and that would be even better.

Buddy most of the US is obese and makes it past 50. Morbidly obese I'd believe but honestly there is a frightening amount of obese people out there
