But Tumblr is free. I've used it since 2011 and have never paid them a dime.

This is amusing because they already have a massive issue that's worth dropping them over. They have no grasp on how to tell what is and isn't actually popular, and as such there's nearly no reason in starting their original series because you already know, especially if it's something genuinely good, it's not getting renewed.
Now these incompetent people think they can squeeze me for more money? Haha nah I was already dropping my sub.

This is anecdotal and a small sample size. The company knew they were going to lose some subscribers but the people who are most affected were the one's already not paying.

I would love to see the numbers of how many customers they lost in that short time

Pretty tired of places testing the water with horrendous policies, laws, rules, restrictions, TOS, etc and then backpedaling hard when it turns out that punishing the people who give you money doesn't exactly win over their hearts. Just stop trying to discover new ways of screwing your customers. Just stop. Ok? You WILL pay for it when we no longer will.

I did a chat with them, asked about specifics, but the nice CS rep didn't really know anything. Not like it's the fault of anyone at that level anyway.
I just wanted to have one more in the pile of "people not happy with limiting."
TBH, I don't think they're after my household anyway, 2 routers and a phone and MAYBE a couple other phones? I'm entirely capable of getting my fix elsewhere, and please don't get me started on Netflix casting decisions *coughTrisscough*.

They did not scrap any plans, they just removed the post that outlines what the change was going to be.

I like to make the comparison between isopropyl alcohol and ethyl alcohol.
One will get you drunk, and the other will get you in a hospital getting your stomach pumped.

Fantastic news. My wife and I were given a couple of MDMA pills by a friend as a gift last year. We rented a motel room and and settled in. Neither of us had done anything remotely like this before, so we didn't really know what to expect.
Well, dancing, reliving the greatest music moments of our teen years, pure happiness and calm, and the best sex we had had in years (which has carried on in New and very pleasurable ways).
We went for a walk through town the next morning and I realized a few things. Depression: gone. Social anxiety: gone. Constant alcohol cravings: gone.
Just poof, not there any more. 4 months later still nothing.
I really wish I had done it 20 years ago. My life would have been so much easier.

Eh, kind of. In my experience, you'd have to take a hell of a lot of shrooms to see some crazy shit. Microdosing won't (or shouldn't) make you see anything or have a bad trip at all.

I mean, it's certainly uplifting for Australians that need it. Not so much for me and my depressed, bipolar, ADHD American-ass. I wish I could have some lol.

I imagine this will go down how Ketamine has been approved for psychiatric use in the US. Meaning it will not be covered by the State or your insurance under any circumstances and will cost thousands of dollars for full treatment.
I tried to do ketamine therapy for my treatment resistant depression and the clinic wanted me to pay nearly $4,000 for the treatment.
I’m hoping this isn’t the case but for my fellow Americans, don’t get too excited when they finally approve it in the US. It’ll likely be the same situation as with the ketamine. And in the event that they’re able to make it into a prescription medication, you most definitely are going to be paying big bucks for that too because your insurance definitely won’t cover it.

You know who loved to see America isolated in WW2? Hitler. It was the most important requirement if he was to conquer the planet that America remain neutral for as long as possible. Now that Hitler 2.0 is trying to conquer Europe again, keeping America isolated is literally straight from the playbook of Putin. So if something keeps the new Hitler contained it really is uplifting. Only Putin can or has the responsibility of deescalating as everybody else is defending against his aggression, not the other way around.
