In terms of what? I think of south west washington as being south of Centralia.
SW Washington, South Puget Sound, The Peninsula, Greater Seattle, Snohomish, Skagit, Whatcom, San Juans
The geologic provinces are the Puget Lowlands, North Cascades and South Cascades. These are the smashed up mini-landforms that comprise western Washington.

Washington has more of and east west spilt culturally.
It's more a matter of Eastern Washington/ Western Washington if you are drawing a comparison to Northern California/ Southern California.

Yeah agree with this. OP, SW Washington, King County, not sure what north of king county is considered.
