The FAQ I read said that they only expect family leave to be taxed not medical leave. They won’t even provide 1099-G for a medical leave even upon request, only family leave.

You’ll get taxed when you file your taxes. I took my leave in 2020 and am about to take it again. Save a check or two.

Thanks! For the most part I make short little videos that don't really have a point (other than learning how to edit videos). Occasionally I make something that's important to me, but for the most part it's just a creative outlet. Thanks for subscribing and supporting me!

The Native Americans have a fascinating legend regarding Mount Si origins. It fits your first impression of the landmass:
Mount Si figures prominently in a Prometheus story from the Snoqualmie tribe. According to the story it is the dead body of Snoqualm, the moon. Snoqualm had ordered that a rope of cedar bark be stretched between the earth and the sky. But Fox and Blue Jay went up the rope and stole the sun from Snoqualm. Snoqualm chased them down the cedar rope, but it broke and he fell to his death. Fox then let the sun free in the sky and gave fire to the people. A face like Snoqualm's is visible on the rocks near the summit.[8]

Paradise is currently only open (and the road only plowed) on weekends due to staffing issues, so definitely check ahead

Hasn’t PFML been in effect since 2020? How do they not have an answer to this if people took leave and filed taxes in 2020 and 2021 already?

I actually went to grab a beer at the brewery right afterwards! (Not allowed to drink for 8 hours before flying) But a hot chocolate would’ve definitely helped keep me warm from the bridge. It was really cold 🥶

Thank you! Was really fortunate that it was clear skies today. Most sunsets are cloudy this time of year, so not a lot of opportunity to capture the color on the mountain. This was was one of my favorites since the snow on December 1st.

Ah, got it. I'd love to hear your take on the US military renaming bases that we're named after confederate generals.

Ocean shores is one of my favorite places to be. Loved watching the sunset today, right after arrival. If you decide to check it out, but not hang around, be sure to come for the Fourth of July.
