Freedom of speech doesn't equate freedom from consequence. My art teacher BTW laughed at the person's critique. That person knew nothing of what they spoke. "The lighting source wasn't fixed" according to them. Prof. straight up said it's like calling a red car blue after checking out the art and the comment.

If someone's being an unnecessary d#@*, hostility comes with it. Don't try defending the other person just cause "comments will come in, regardless of them being unsolicited or not". Like I said, freedom of speech ≠ freedom from consequence. "Being hostile" is also a consequence, like it or not. And it's justified in this context. So please, don't gatekeep how people react.

Cut out about half of that or all you'll be doing is driving. That isn't really time enough to do anything. You need time to stop for walking trails (not everything is visible from the highway) and to eat. Crater Lake specifically may already be closed for the winter by October, it's a very short tourist season there.

Wherever you go get there VERY early. During summer, you can’t even find parking anywhere after 9AM. If you’re going from Portland to Bend, take I-84 through The Gorge to Hood River. Then head South on OR35 until you hook back up with US26 at the foot of Mt Hood. Do NOT try to take US26 or you’ll be stuck in traffic lights and crappy urban sprawl for hours, vs. getting to see some of the best scenery, restaurants, museums, waterfalls and save yourself a few hours and a shitload of fuel.
When you head back through to Astoria, you can actually save a bit of time by heading north up I-5 and take WA14 out of Longview. Same stretch of river, but better Mexican food. Clatskanie is a dump, full of speed traps, but Skamokawa is a cute little town. There’s really fuckall to do in Astoria anyway except drink. That’ll put you right onto US101 north. Will take you straight up along the coast-ish near the beaches toward the rainforests. Be sure to get fuel in Aberdeen at the Safeway before you head up the peninsula. Otherwise the Quinaults with take you to the cleaners. Forks sucks, but you can find a cheap motel there if need.

EDIT: I re-read your itinerary, and it is completely wildly unrealistic. The only way you could make this schedule is by doing a bunch of drugs and stay awake for a month straight or own a Star Trek teleporter. Also, Portland has become a shitshow of drug addicts. The main shopping district is a mix of religious crazies and drugged out lunatics.
EDIT2: You’re dealing with an area larger than France, Germany and Spain with almost 0% of the infrastructure. California by itself is larger than Sweden and the 3rd largest economy in the world.

You should only really offer "constructive feedback" when the artist deliberately asks for it. You might think you are doing them a favor, but they don't need it and they don't want to hear it. Art is very subjective after-all, your feedback might not even be relevant to the artist's style.

And Fox Island, and Anderson, and others.

And the whole coast of Puget Sound is weirdly cut off. Like for the Seattle area you can clearly see Lake Union, Green Lake, the Duwamish, etc. But the weirdly abrupt "shore" cuts off downtown, leaving out most of Queen Anne, all of Magnolia, much of Ballard, much of Everett, West Seattle, SeaTac, and Burien, much of Federal Way, Point Defiance, and Northeast Tacoma is just missing. I-5 between Tacoma and Seattle is cut by some weird intrusion of Puget Sound, somewhere around 516. Part of 101 on the west side of Hood Canal is missing. It's all very weird. Looks like a bad xacto knife job all along the shores of Puget Sound.

Up around Lynnwood you can see the I-5 and 405 interchange, and a bit to the west the diagonal line of Hwy 99, except going south 99 just runs straight into the water around what seems to be Lake Ballinger.

But worst of all, no Point Roberts!

Happened all the time to me. I would just grudgingly enter everything in again, and after about two attempts it would finally let me through.

No idea why their damn login page is always so horribly buggy.

Oh, and the EBT page is even worse! I still haven’t been able to get anyone to help me with password recovery because they just keep referring me back to the same page that refuses to allow me to change my password, rejects all new passwords as “already used earlier” (when they are literally randomly generated and it’s therefore impossible for me to have already used them), and then locks me out permanently.
