Just a guess but Washington makes revenue off sales tax, not income tax. So the next level of home sales is a business entity, which would require you to submit sales tax collected back to the state.

Abolish the state

I'm not terribly familiar with the law, but I took a gander. I think it just says you can't sell fresh fruits and vegetables under cottage food laws. Hot sauce, being fermented, should be fine.

Umm...the only road to get to Johnston Ridge? 504.
Believe me, it's from the viewing area there near the observatory.

Do you recall what road you took to get there?

Go to second beach or Shi Shi, one of the ones you have to hike into. Those will be a ghost town most of the year until the sun makes its yearly 3 month appearance

It’s interesting man. The things we remember. The things we know about people that existed thousands of years ago.

A few years ago the National Museum of the American Indian in DC had an exhibit on the Incas. It described their economy, political organization, and transport network as well as their culture. It had a full size model of a section of rope bridge. Pretty cool stuff.
Definitely an advanced society.

Reply to driver's license renewal question regarding renewing 1 year early vs renewing on time by jason200911
I believe license fees went up Jan 1. I can't recall the details, but when I got mine in mid January, the price they charged was higher than the website, and her comment in explanation was related to recent changes for 2023. Maybe they're slow to update the info on the web?

There are some really good peak identification apps for phones that use the camera. I've been using PeakFinder for years - but it is a paid app. I can't recommend any of the free ones.
