You vacuum and wipe down couches every day then steam mop every few days. Having a mostly hard floors throught the house helps too.

Wow thank you for the great feedback! I have a 6mo old son that’s taking most of my time right now but if I get a little time I’ll do my best to implement some of your suggestions. Thank you!

This is really great! I just gave it a go on a drive I make most weekends.
Some suggestions, but please know this is already excellent. I’m just giving these in case you like to tweak things.
Have larger areas of the map load instead of needing to move the map, then hit the button to load cameras for that area. It’s a bit cumbersome, but might be unavoidable? I needed to know where the cameras were in order load them on the map. Not the best for people who don’t know an area well.
Oregon would be helpful too as others have said. We have a lot of crossover on the border. Washington is better though.
Perhaps have pre selected major routes that someone can tap and get multiple cameras. Just a nice to have for quickly getting info for major routes.
One of the best feature is me being able to build my own routes! That is super helpful for those of us in rural areas. So really nicely done! Please don’t take offense to these suggestions, just food for thought on an already excellent app.

This, and get the Brava for mopping. You’ll still need to vacuum and mop periodically, but your workload will be reduced about 90 percent.

Can you do this for Idaho or Oregon? I drive to Boise frequently and it’s a nightmare trying to check road conditions in 3 different states

Vacuum/mop at least once a week, a hose in the back yard when it’s warm enough, and constant brushing. The hair can’t go everywhere if you put it in a bag first

Cannon beach has a much more beautiful view (and oddly better weather) and is 20 minutes longer of a drive. Less people/tourists too, depending on what you’re looking for.

This is so embarrassing. Tacoma is not scary to live in. Lakewood is worse (and more boring) in most places.

I lived in Lakewood for 4 years. Specific areas are sketchy. There are a lot of nicer, expensive areas. The target and Walmart are way more chill than the tacoma ones. There's a farmers market in the summer. Fort steilacoom Park is cool. For the most part, I think it's safer than tacoma.

The only issue is that it's harder to afford a house in Tacoma than Atlanta surbubs.

It's a beautiful drive and the roads are well maintained, but heed the speed limit. Very twisty and steep drops. Along the way there are pull-offs with dazzling views of the Nooksack River.

I have two 100lb dogs (and two cats) One dog with a short coat and the other with a double coat. I vacuum everyday. Also vacuum my baseboards and edges and under the furniture once a week. I keep towels and a washable rug at my doors to stop the mud. I “hot mop” (Boiling water, hottest tap water, spoon full of powdered tide and some bleach) 1-2 times a week. I bought a Chom Chom roller for my couches and I vacuum them about 1x week too.
It’s a never ending process, but vacuuming daily really helps I have found out.
**I bought a Bissell hardwood floor vac for pets and it’s literally the best purchase I have ever made for a vacuum and these dogs and hardwood floors. I too have 3 vacuums and I use the one with the rollers on the carpet, furniture, edges and baseboards.

I moved to Tacoma 3 months ago and am happier than I’ve ever been. It’s more a matter of what you’re used to/comfortable with.

Btw: supporting multiple states can be a paid feature. Think about thus

GSD owner here… I used to have a Neato robot vacuum but recently got a Roborock S7 MaxV and it made my life a lot easier. It’s camera avoids all the toys on the floor, the mop is far from perfect but makes the floor shine. And what I thought was silly turned out to be my favorite feature… self emptying!

Vacuuming constantly.
Lab gets a swim and vigorous toweling off weekly, which seems to help with stink and loose hair. She also has a dogloo that is filled with cedar shavings ( find at farm and garden store) that covers any other stink with cedar scent.

It’s very well put together already. You could keep it the way it is and have it be a really useful tool for many people. It shows you put a lot of care and thought into it.
