Potato Harvest in Washington last from Sept-Nov. they are always looking for truck drivers to take spuds from field to storage( it is ag so no CDL required).

Hay harvest is a big deal also, it lasts from May-Nov. Places like https://www.anderson-hay.com have big harvest crews.

https://www.capitalpress.com is a NW ag newspaper that has job postings.

Also a cool seasonal job is firefighter for Washington Department of Resources or the US Forest Service. A lot of my friends when I was in college loved fighting forest fires in the summer.

I'm totally naive about this kind of work but I'm guessing most seasonal agricultural work would be apples, pears, cherries, and wine grapes. As far as I know, that kind of thing ramps up in the fall or possibly late summer for the grapes.

I stopped him on the mat, used my hands to physically wipe his little paws on the mat, and just repeated ā€œgood wipe your feetā€ over and over while feeding him treats. He figured it out after like two five minute attempts. And if a stubborn-ass dachshund can do it, whatever breed you have can totally learn it.

We don’t even have to tell him to do it anymore… he comes in through the dog door from outside and we hear vigorous foot wiping on the mat til he gets his treat.

There was a heavy dose of hopium and not nearly enough study data to ever warrant the mandate, but at a minimum natural immunity through proof of previous infection should have been accepted.

It's fascinating how the anti-establishment "my body my choice" crowd suddenly became in favor of mandates from old white male politicians to take pharmaceutical companies with unethical track records.

I should probably clarify - although it will be cold, whether or not it snows is highly dependent on whether the precipitation sticks around until the cold arrives.

Don't plan on snow just yet. The forecast currently suggests things it will dry out before it gets cold enough for snow.

Good luck with work either way. I hope you get some time off one way or another.
