Not super convenient from Vancouver but if you go out to the Olympic Peninsula, the beach at Fort Worden has good tidepools (the Port Townsend Marine Science Center does great guided low tide walks) and if you keep walking west from there, North Beach County Park has some decent sea glass if you're into that.

I thought you said you lost it in the mail? Shucks, no license to surrender anymore 😩

Another option would be to “lose” your Hawaii license now and order a back up before you move. Then have the hole punched through the replacement one

Oh LOL, I have my 20 year old Manfrotto 3021Pro that I use.
Right after this shot I moved closer and did some bracketed exposures, to make HDR. The HDR just doesn't look right, this natural dark look is better.
Sunrise was happening and the light was changing. I had other views to photograph too. ;) The Tree of Life is cool, but not the best picture I got that day.

I have been really impressed with their work, too! I actually had a chance to do the Barrier Assessment Team training, and am planning on doing kokanee fry trapping starting next week for the Three Rivers chapter. Salmon and trout are amazing fish--- they actually represent one of the largest transfers of marine nutrients inland in the entire world!

I still have all my OG licenses but they punched a hole in them to signify they are no longer valid.

While not the same circumstances, I have six old driver's licenses, only one has a hole punched in it. I've moved a few times and each time it I move or it expires, I get a new one. Even the expired one didn't get a hole punch.

We may not have healing springs, but we do have toxic springs

Near Hanford, if you find a pool of oddly warm water... well, heal yourself as much as you want, I guess.

It's wrong n stuff, but could you claim it was lost an order a duplicate, before you go to get your new license?

A solid group, that makes a big difference on keeping our waterways clear (through stream work, but also barrier assessments). Everything is connected in the ecosystems of the Northwest and the salmon (other fish as well) have an impact on more than most people are aware of.
