Are you expecting them to charge based on alcohol content? That would be way more complicated.

I wasn't in HR so I can't know for sure if they did or not. But if they ever checked my background in the 11 years I was there, they certainly didn't tell me about it.
My friends supporting government contracts all needed US security clearance anyways, which is constantly checking up on you in extreme detail.

It's 45. Summers here. The sun is out. Everyone is at Greenlake in shorts.

Maybe they do, maybe they dont. Fact is funding is/has been being set aside for a plethora of building projects with the hope of curbing homelessness.

I must've missed the part where I called out Spokane directly. I know this is how Ellensburg and Yakima operate. Frankly, its way less expensive for the bus ticket than to fund shelters, blankets, etc.

No you cannot, the house has a working furnace and your room is not an efficiency or studio apartment it is a shared dwelling. Get a space heater. WA does not require that every room in a shared home have its own thermostat and heater/ac that's unreasonable. What you do is get everyone to agree to a higher temp for the house and use fans as they are intended or use a space heater in your room. Either way, you will use more electricity.

I wasn't saying the approved levee was negligible, that was in reference to the .50 cent tax the person i was replying to said. Could have made myself clearer.
I agree that 1k is not negligible; i also think we are super lucky to not pay state income tax and that the state needs to make up the money somewhere. I'd rather pay this property tax increase in that framing, which is how i tend to view these things.

Probably old growth, full of ecosystems and such. As opposed to new growth which can be grown specifically for logging
